 Fishing 

– Our Private Jetty fronting the Crookhaven River

Having our own private jetty allows you walk out of your cottage and throw a line in at any time of the day or night. You can catch bream flathead or blackfish all year round. You can even tie your boat up to our jetty when you come home for the night.

 – Main Greenwell Point Wharf

100 metres away you can fish from the main town wharf and catch bream, flathead and jewfish.

– Greenwell Point Boat Ramp

The local boat ramp is 100 metres away. You can launch your boat for a day’s fishing and when you’ve caught your bagful, simply come back to the Cottages and tie your boat up at our jetty, ready to go again the next day without the hassle of relaunching again.

– Game Fishing Charters

There are a number of fishing charter operators that operate from Greenwell Point giving you access to the Sir John Young Banks and the Continental Shelf within an hour’s travel. These charters give you access to reef fishing and game fishing for species such as Marlin, Bluefin Tuna and Yellowfin Tuna and Kingfish.

Greenwell Point Swimming Pool

The local council operates a 50 metre swimming pool during summers. The pool is located 40 metres from Waterfront Cottages.

Waterfront Cottages is in the heart of Greenwell Point. There are many places to eat or go for a night out within walking distance:

  • Pelican Rocks Seafood Restaurant
  • Greenwell Point Bowling Club.

If you want to cook your own meals the local butcher and IGA supermarket are a short walk away.

If you want some of the best oysters in Australia, visit the local oyster farms to buy direct from the growers.

– Culburra Beach

If you want to go surfing, Culburra Beach is a short 10 minute drive from Greenwell Point.

Point Perpendicular Lookout and Lighthouse

If you want a spectacular view over Jervis Bay then the 20 minute drive is well worthwhile.

– Jervis Bay

From Greenwell Point you have access to the north side of Jervis Bay within 20 minute drive. The south side of Jervis Bay is accessible within a 40 minute drive.
